If you’re anything like me, coffee is life. Ok, maybe not quite literally, but I love sitting down with a nice cup of coffee to start my morning. Naturally, finding local coffee shops is a top priority when I travel, and it’s something that I research before traveling anywhere. So if you’re headed to Orlando, I want to save you some research and share the best coffee shops — from my perspective as a local.

Add These 4 Places to Get Coffee to Your Orlando Shortlist

Paloma Coffee Co.

Located right on Main Street in downtown Windermere, Paloma is the cutest little coffee shop. Paloma feels like your small-town local coffee shop, complete with beautiful decor, plenty of greenery and top-notch quality coffee.

From lattes to French press coffee, you’re unlikely to be disappointed by anything you order from this menu. I personally love their “Brew-to-Order” as they have the most incredible selection of coffee beans from which to choose.

Foxtail Coffee Co.

Foxtail Coffee Co. is one of the first “local” coffee shops I visited in Orlando. And it’s still one of my favorites places to grab a cold brew. Since then, they’ve expanded to various towns within Central Florida — perfect for anyone traveling into the area as you’ll likely be close to at least one of their locations. My favorite location is the Winter Park store, where you can also find Foxtail’s Farmhouse. It’s a perfect opportunity to make a day of it.

Insider tip: Linger a while to get some great food, brews and enjoy a laid-back ambiance after a late afternoon cup of joe.

Citrus Coffee Company

A more recent favorite of mine is Citrus Coffee Company, located in the heart of Clermont, Florida - within the lobby level of the Citrus Tower. The Citrus Tower was built in 1956 and overlooks the rolling hills of Central Florida, standing 22 stories high. Inspired by the origins of citrus growing, the coffee carries a similar theme with Citrus signature lattes. As a bonus, you can purchase tickets to go up to the top of the Citrus Tower during your visit.

Insider tip: For those of you that may need to work while traveling, I love visiting this quaint coffee shop to knock out some remote work and enjoy a change of scenery.

Axum Coffee

If you’re visiting the downtown Winter Garden area, I highly recommend visiting Axum Coffee. Not only will you get incredible coffee from one of the two locations, but you’ll feel immersed in the “small town” vibe of Winter Garden – especially on Plant Street. Depending on when you visit, you can plan to visit during the weekly Saturday Winter Garden Farmer’s Market for a perfect activity, whether you’re a local or traveler. And why not walk around with a great coffee in hand?

Insider tip: While I love the larger Axum Coffee shop, I tend to visit their smaller location in Plant Street Market – where you can get food, brews and shop local products.

Hilton Grand Vacations Owner, Kassi P.

Kassi P.

Kassi is a three-time Explorer and Owner since 2018, when she and her husband, then in their late 20's, decided vacation ownership was the next step in building a life filled with travel. As Orlando locals, they enjoy staycations and exploring The City Beautiful, but have never actually stayed at their home resort, Hilton Grand Vacations at Tuscany Village.

When she's not using her ClubPoints in Florida, this urban traveler has a love of international travel and a sweet spot for her second home — New York City, which is where she got engaged while staying at West 57th Street by Hilton Club. When asked about her long run in the Explorer program, Kassi says, "It's my goal to inspire someone to create new memories, get out and travel and make the most out of vacation ownership."
