Each year TripAdvisor awards the Travelers Choice’ seal to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that routinely earn rave reviews from travelers and rank within the top 10% of properties on TripAdvisor.

Out of nearly 3,000 reviews (2,996), travelers ranked Kings’ Land, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club, as No. 2 out of eight hotels in Waikoloa.

Offering Owners and Guests the quintessential aloha experience, this 112-acre tropical oasis boasts plenty to love. From its distinctly Hawaiian aesthetic — carved from an ancient lava field — to its signature Hilton Grand Vacations hospitality, it’s easy to understand why Owners and Guests return each year.

Here are six reasons travelers can’t get enough of Kings’ Land.

Aloha-worthy Pools

The TripAdvisor reviews and Hilton Grand Vacations Owner reviews are synonymous: The pools at Kings’ Land are vacation dreams realized.

"When you say Hawaii, my first thought is Kings’ Land. In my opinion, Kings’ Land has the best pool system in all of Hilton Grand Vacations. It has something for everyone, from waterslides for the kiddos to the chairs in the water in the adults-only section. I am not saying that I haven’t been down the waterslides myself. But you can’t prove that."

Laurie L., Elite Premier Hilton Grand Vacations Owner

No matter what kind of pool fits your vacation style, Kings’ Land has got you covered. Owners and Guests can explore sand-bottom pools, kids pools, a serenity pool, and of course, the super pool complex — a favorite complete with waterfalls and waterslides.

Finally, if you’re the type of traveler seeking hidden gems, be sure to head to the adult pool area. Eric Z., an Elite Premier Owner for more than 10 years, shares that his favorite pool feature is the cold plunge pool in the adult’s pool area. “Few people know about it,” he explained.

Championship Greens

Perhaps you’d rather putt, strike or drive your way to relaxation in paradise. You’re in luck.

Kings’ Land is nestled among two championship courses, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., and a 30,000-square-foot putting course — featuring sand traps, water features, a self-guided tour of Hawaii’s native plants and stunning oceanfront views.

Unforgettable Aloha Ambiance

What’s a trip to Hawaii without a little (or a lot) of aloha? Between the waterfalls, lava rock scenery and a lush lawn event area that hosts hula shows and sunrise and sunset yoga sessions, you’ll be hard-pressed not to find your Zen.

And it’s that same intangible energy that captivated Jessica M. during her first stay at Kings’ Land. When articulating the most memorable part of her stay, she said, “It would probably be the vibe. In the fullest sense: relaxed tropical vacation.

She explained how relaxation is infused into every aspect across the resort — from the beautiful pool and adults-only pool area to a large amount of outdoor seating and a tropical setting by the pool and bar. “Even the free parking plays a part in the whole relaxed atmosphere,” said Jessica.

Satisfying On-site Dining

The resort’s dining options are a hit when it comes to grabbing a bite. “There are two dining restaurants that Owners and Guests love because they can enjoy the sunset and panoramic ocean views for a spectacular experience,” shared Noe M., the Guest services manager at Kings’ Land. “If you’re lucky, during whale season you may even spot some spouting.”

At Kings’ Land Bistro & Lounge, visitors enjoy all-day Hawaiian cuisine, including a breakfast buffet, baked goods, salads and daily specials. The ambiance features a design brimming with local touches, such as hand-carved details crafted by local artisans.

Owners and Guests can swing by Kings’ Land Pool Bar for locally inspired, casual open-air snacks and drinks. The menu gives travelers a taste of regional flavors unique to Hawaii and the South Pacific at a family-friendly spot to refuel.

Or catch a game on the 60-inch plasma TVs while you sit at a Hawaiian work of art that doubles as a bar — forged from African mahogany by one of the Big Island’s local masters.

Well-appointed Accommodations

Retreat to a beautifully designed and spacious 1-, 2- or 3-Bedroom Suite for your private piece of paradise. Start your day by sipping coffee from your private lanai overlooking the verdant tropical grounds before exploring or relaxing as much as you please.

Your fully equipped kitchen offers the flexibility to prepare a low-key homestyle meal unless, of course, you prefer to pick up local ingredients to cook up in the grill area. But no matter how you choose to enjoy your accommodations, it’s your oasis.

Direct Access to Hilton Waikoloa Village®

“Although Owners and Guests enjoy the super pool here at Kings’ Land, they’re excited when they find out they have access to the Hilton Waikoloa Village water facilities, too. Hilton Waikoloa Village has the largest pool on the island and an artificial saltwater lagoon,” explained Noe M.

Owners and Guests need only climb aboard the complimentary shuttle, where they can enjoy full access to Hilton Waikoloa Village, including various dining options, activities, a full-service spa and a 20,000-square-foot super pool.
